[mrtg] SNMP for Linux

Could someone help me out please?  I have cmu-snmp for Linux v3.5 installed.
Is there a way I can monitor CPU usage?  Free memory?  Could someone give me
some OID examples, or even some visual examples?

How can I use RFC1514?  I run MRTG on NT so I use Getif to walk MIB files.
I can't find the MIB for this RFC1514 anywhere, I thought I did, put it in
the dir and restarted Getif (after deleting the index file) but can't find
the things this MIB is supposed to use.
