Timestamp of 949075089 corresponds to Fri Jan 28 10:58AM EST 2000 on my
system.  Formula to get from one to the other is "(<non-skip seconds since
epoch>+((365*70+19-5/24)*86400))/86400" which is different from that
provided in the MRTG documentation.

Can you please indicate more clearly what you mean by this?
As far as I know, nothing is wrong?

Could this perhaps be a timezone problem, on your end?
