[mrtg] monitor www and ftp activity??

using mrtg and a 3com switch that has RMON2, is it possible to not only monitor the bandwith (that I am doing now),
but also monitor ftp, pop, smtp, www protocol usage out of the bandwith??
If so how would this be done?
