[mrtg] graphing cisco syslog data

hello all,

        What we are doing is taking our cisco syslog files
and parsing them into the format of 

        IP number, Count

Count being the number of times an ip address has hit any of our
boxes. This is run every 5 minutes. i was wondering if there was
some way to get mrtg to graph this data. Or if i need to 
change the format so that mrtg will like it and be able 
to produce graphs.  Any help is appreciated.
Currently using mrtg v. 2.8.12
