[mrtg] Re: SNMP with NetWare 5

What's "freeable" disk space? Unpurged files? Does it have anything to do with compressed space? The reason I ask is I am looking into network-wide storage needs for my company. The server people in the company are very concerned because Netware has a compression algorithm that may not be applicable to the new medium. In other words, Netware stores data compressed, and the new technology that we choose *may* not. So a volume in Netware that reports it's taking up 2.5 gb on a volume with compression enabled, may actually be taking up as much as 5 gb or more in uncompressed format. Is there an SNMP OID that can give me the compressed vs. uncompressed file information? I've looked all over Novell's site and browsed all the MIBs I can find from Novell, and have had absolutely no luck. That's not to say that it doesn't exist, just that I have been unable to find it.

Thanks!

Paul
