[mrtg] Monitoring Lucent ATM WAN switches

I have several Lucent ATM WAN switches (AC120, AC20) installed with ATM links to other locations, and want to graph the utilization on the ATM ports. The problem is Lucent uses counters that increment up to about 3 billion cells, then are switched to negative numbers and decrement. Are there any tricks in MRTG that will let me collect and graph this data without writing a script to collect the data and convert it to positive integers?

Here's what I get from an snmpwalk of the counters for my two ports;

atmIfStatsValidCellsInLo
enterprises.1751.2.18.11.1.1.3.101001 = 3020687
enterprises.1751.2.18.11.1.1.3.807001 = -1222051588

atmIfStatsValidCellsOutLo
enterprises.1751.2.18.11.1.1.9.101001 = 2501481
enterprises.1751.2.18.11.1.1.9.807001 = 1253362471
