You can use IIS with MRTG, I am.
If you want you can also use Microsoft Peer Web services

If we tell you everything, you'll have mrtg running, but you would have
learned nothing.

I truly recommend you read up on all these things...

To understand products by Microsoft simply go to their website and type the
product in.
