MRTG seems to do okay or else you won't be able to monitor your ciscos.

Step one: find out how to collect stats from your other devices. This
is not MRTG specific. Your vendor should be able to help you out.
Step two: find out how to query these stats from MRTG.

If you're lucky, the device knows how to speak SNMP and your task will
be relatively simple. If not, but if you are able to get the stats by
other means, you can use the external scripting facility of MRTG.

Try to get some background knowledge of how MRTG queries your ciscos.
Search the list archives for "snmpget" and "snmpwalk" and you'll get
plenty of information.

regards,
