[mrtg] Need help on monitoring ascend!!

Good day !!
        I am using an ascend max 4000. Anybody has an idea on how will i
monitor this using mrtg? What I mean is that , how will I monitor the
no. users online or simple the modem counts on the ascend? I already
have the traffic monitoring of the ascend. How will I generate a .cfg
file using "cfgmaker" that generate modem counts not the modem traffic?
Anybody know how will I figure this out?
