[mrtg] Information of Total Amount of Trafic of Day

Hi I just subscribed 5 min ago.
I have CISCO1605R and I would like to know the
the daily total amount(in MB)

So how can I get the information.
Can I  just calculate the daily total amount
and get accurate amount?.

Also is it poosible to run MRTG every minitue instead of 5 min by
simply adding entry to crontab? 
then I can get
more correct total amount.

How could I interpret the log file below.
The below is the part of data of an interface of Router.
So should I just get average and then
multiply the 3600*24 seconds/day?
