Because this scale changes automatically with the utilization. To put the
maximum value of the speed you must to use the option Unscaled [target]: wmy
in the target that you are intend to do it.

I have the mrtg reading from cisco serial0/0 which is a full T1 connection.
Why aren't the maximum vertical axis values 1.544mbps for T1's?
