Alex,

You're right on the money there.  FWIW I do use other graphs to monitor this
entity.  I like to see the total throughput.  That's all.  The script is
useful as an example for summing multiple interfaces and the user should
definitely keep in mind the usefullness of the data generated.  I'll try to
remember to include this kind of info on future postings.
