[mrtg] problem polling cpu statistics from solaris 2.6 box running ucd-snmpd

Howdy...

I'm trying to get mrtg 2.8.12 to pull user and system cpu statistics
from a Solaris 2.6 machine running ucd snmpd 4.1.1.

I can poll the OIDs manually with snmpwalk:

client:~ ] snmpwalk server public .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.9
enterprises.ucdavis.systemStats.ssCpuUser.0 = 58
client:~ ] snmpwalk server public .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.10
enterprises.ucdavis.systemStats.ssCpuSystem.0 = 3

My Target: line reads

Target[server-cpu]: 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.9&1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.10:public at server

and the format matches several other hosts (Cisco routers) for which I
am successfully monitoring OIDs using the OID1&OID2:community at target
syntax.  It's not working though:

SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
  error status: noSuchName
  index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.9)
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "server" [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx].161
                  community: "public"
                 request ID: 282592105
                PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
                    timeout: 2s
                    retries: 5
                    backoff: 1)
SNMPGET Problem for 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.9 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.10 sysUptime sysName on public at server
SNMPGET: Failed to reach target:
"1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.9&1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.10:public at server". I tried multiple times! public at server

Using a sniffer, I see that MRTG is sending snmpv1 packets with PDU type
'GET' and server is responding with error status 'NO SUCH NAME'. When I
use snmpwalk, the snmpv1 requests are of type 'GET-NEXT', but I don't know
enough about SNMP to determine if there's a problem there.

Any clues would be much appreciated. Thanks!
