Thanks very much Christopher Congdon!
His HUGE e-mail  of him whining (*grin*) has made a huge step of help for me... It showed me that I needed to 
start the snmp server.. (doh!)
NOW I have a mrtg.cfg file :-) I can keep going.. Thanks for your combined help ppls.. your all life savers.. 
Hopefully you wont hear from me again.. :)
