[mrtg] Synoptics Lattishub

We have acquired a used Synoptics LattisHub 2814 option 04 with next to no 
docs.

MRTG "cfgmaker" reports "connection refused".

I have set up the LattisHub's IP thru the serial port, but I am running it 
stand-alone (ie I haven't downloaded a config file to it.  Is that required 
to use snmp?)

I can ping it, but thats about all.

The serial port menus have a place to enter a license code.  Is a license 
required to collect simple statistics?
