[mrtg] MRTG with Ascend Pipelines

I've noticed that the port number assigned to an ISDN line changes every
time an Ascend Pipeline loses the connection and re-establishes. I've
seen the SNMP-walker but not sure how to implement it and I don't know
if it's the right thing to implement. Any thoughts on the best way to
monitor the WAN side of an Ascend pipeline connected to a 128K ISDN
line?
