I've been trying to chart the errors on all the interfaces of my cisco
2514. Can't quite get it....
here is my cfg file:
WorkDir: /usr/local/apache/htdocs/mrtg
WriteExpires: Yes
Target[interface.errors1]: .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14&.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.20:public at XXXXXX
MaxBytes[interface.errors1]: 20000000
Options[interface.errors1]: integer, noinfo, nopercent
Suppress[interface.errors1]: y
YLegend[interface.errors1]: Interface Errors
ShortLegend[interface.errors1]:
Legend1[interface.errors1]: In
Legend2[interface.errors1]: Out
LegendI[interface.errors1]: In :
LegendO[interface.errors1]: Out :
Title[interface.errors1]: Interface Errors
PageTop[interface.errors1]:
Interface Errors

and here is the results after running mrtg:
SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
error status: noSuchName
index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14)
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "XXXXX" [172.22.34.1].161
community: "public"
request ID: 1130161679
PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
timeout: 2s
retries: 5
backoff: 1)
SNMPGET Problem for .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.20 sysUptime sysName on public at XXXXX
SNMPGET: Failed to reach target:
".1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14&.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.20:public at XXXXX". I tried multiple times! public at XXXXX
Can someone send me a sample cfg for graphing the errors on a cisco - and
how can you specify a specific interface (ie: ether0=.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14.1
but that returns nothing when I use SNMPWALK)
