[mrtg] Help On Syntax

I'm still trying to debug my issue with the Matrix 5000 monitoring (Wed,
10 May 2000 18:58:33 -0400).  I'd like to try a couple of things, but
can't find any docs on how to do them.

First, how does one use the DEBUG variable in the MRTG script?  There
seems to be several "levels" that DEBUG can be set to.  Is there any
documentation on what those levels are?

And, can I emulate a specific SMTP GET command that MRTG does?  I would
like to see exactly what is returned by the GET so I can determine where
the probelm begins.  Can I do something like "perl snmp_util smtpget
..." to see what is returned?
