Hi all,
Can someone tell me how to configure MRTG geting modem stats from
a Mini Array III Multimodem (Multitech)? I have already configured the
SNMP agent on the Mini array as following:
SNMP Agent : enabled
Trap Manager Community Name : public
Trap Manager IP Address : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (IP address)
Trap Manager Port Number : 161
SNMP Reboot Required Trap : enabled
Get Community Name : public
Get Community Permission : readonly
Set Community Name : supervisor
Set Community Permission : readwrite
Authentication : Simple Community
Name
but when from the command prompt I run c:\mrtg-2.8.12\run cfgmaker
public at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > mrtgras.cfg I get error message
SNMPGET Problem for sysDescr sysContact sysName sysLocation ifNumber
sysObjectID on public at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
SNMP Error: no response received
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx].161
community: "public"
request ID: 956836245
PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
timeout: 2s
retries: 5
backoff: 1)
I am running mrtg-2.8.12 on Win NT.
