[mrtg] AbsMax Setting

I have my Absmax and Maxbytes setup in my config files, why is it that on
some graphs it will show a red line where my Maxbytes are and on other
graphs it does not. I have double checked my setup and they are the same as
far as configurations go?
Any help would be great.
