[mrtg] I assuming this error is common, but I can't find a solution

I'm assuming my mrtg.cfg file is correct since I'm using minimal
parameters. For example it consists of:

(altered for security)
WorkDir: /home/httpd/mrtg
Options[_]: growright,bits
Target[r]: -2:abcdCS457 at 207.210.efg.hij
MaxBytes[r]: 64000
Title[r]: Traffic Analysis For Internet Provider
PageTop[r]: <H1> Statisitcs </H1>
Interval: 5
Refresh: 300

However, when I run mrtg with the configure file I get this mrtg
error, which is puzzling.

SNMP Error:
receiving response PDU: No route to host
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "207.210.abc.def" [207.210.abc.def].ghi
community: "abcdCS457"
request ID: 118056633
PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
timeout: 2s
retries: 5
backoff: 1)
SNMPGET Problem for ifOutOctets.2 ifInOctets.2 sysUptime sysName on
abcdCS457 at 207.210.efg.hij

Can anyone suggest/comment what I should be or not should be doing?
