Umm, sure?  That's kinda surprising.  There are a bunch more people on here who's names I see all the time as well.  Moderated is a interesting concept, and I have the time to assist the cause...

well, here is what I can offer ... 

a) some frequent posters can be made list admins ... 
b) this allows them to modify subscribers posting options
c) one option is to make their posts moderated
d) the other is to ban them from posting all together
e) a third would be to unsubscribe them and even ban them from
   resubscribing

the things Justin has proposed all sound good and sensible but I do
not realy have the time to implement them.

as list admins I would propose

35      Paul C. Williamson" <pwilliamson at MANDTBANK.COM>
48      Alex van den Bogaerdt <alex at slot.hollandcasino.nl>

the number in the first row is the number of posts they sent to the
list over the last 3 months ...
