Ken, you are sooooo right. I spend at least two days looking for answers in the manual, then another couple looking through the online stuff before I think about posting. Then I watch the list for another day because it seems as if a question I would ask will usually pop up on the list soon after I start wondering about it...

I've been a member of this list for a couple of years now and at one point
posted answers VERY often (my numbers were higher than Alex's for a while
there). I can't tell you the number of times I posted "Use Option[]:bits"
and a quote from the the config.html file, or other similarly simple things.
In my opinion too many "admins" don't bother looking at the documentation at
all. A bit of moderation would do wonders in my opinion....

An evaluation of the number of valid posts vs invalid posts over X period
would lend a better determination for the need to enforce moderation over
suggesting that people just delete through the "I'VE POSTED THIS THREE
TIMES" type of material.
