    Part of being a good System Administrator means I get up, walk up to the CEO and
show him what the proper way is to use email, and what works and what doesn't.  He
can't fire me for doing my job, he's at fault, not me.  It takes moxy to stand up
and speak up.  But it also gives you the recognition of 'hey, he really does know
what he's doing'...

    What a few already said on the list, you can't expect program to be made
specifically against RFC standards (or to be broken as per RFC rules).  If someone
in your organization doesn't understand this, then tough.  Really, give them a copy
of the RFC to read.
