[mrtg] Cisco OID problems with MRTG

I have Getif 2.1.3 and I have the appropriate Cisco mibs loaded with no
problems. I am trying, one way or the other, to monitor and alert when an
ISDN BRI comes up. Has anybody had any problems with putting a certain OID
into MRTG and getting errors back like this:

SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
  error status: noSuchName
  index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.26.1.1.1.1.17.4)
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "172.16.28.57" [172.16.28.57].161
                  community: "public"
                 request ID: 612056866
                PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
                    timeout: 2s
                    retries: 5
                    backoff: 1)
SNMPGET Problem for 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.26.1.1.1.1.17.4 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.
7.4 sysUptime sysName on public at 172.16.28.57
SNMPGET: Failed to reach target: "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.26.1.1.1.1.17.4&
9.26.1.1.1.1.17.4:public at 172.16.28.57". I tried multiple times!

I wouldn't think that it would need a RW community. I'm running 12.03.t3 on
my router so it's not like it's an old IOS that can't understand. I've
tried changing the interface number (the .4 on the end) and even tried
removing it. Done this with multiple OID's related to ISDN. Any
suggestions?
