Following an upgrade from MRTG 2.8.11 to 2.9.2, we are now getting output
on $STDERR which we did not get when using 2.8.11, as in
[root at ns2 bin]# ./mrtg fqdn.cfg > /dev/null
>>public at fqdn<<
In our case, the message on $STDERR only appears wrt .cfg files which graph
Cisco CPU utilization and use a target similar to
Target[fqdn.cpu.1]:1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.57.0&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0:public at fqdn
Is this a cockpit error on our part or a feature?
If a cockpit error, does anyone know what we are doing wrong and what the
resolution is?
If a feature, can the output be suppressed and how?
