[mrtg] Problems with services when Forking MRTG

[Equipment Coordinator]

I was running MRTG in forked mode on the same unix server as my Bahamut IRCD
server.  When MRTG began to fork, almost all of my daemon based services
terminated.  I have duplicated this several times, and is evident when using
2 forks or 4 forks...  Has anyone else experienced problems of this nature?
If so, was there some fix that you were able to perform to resolve it?
