Tobi says he doesn't know why (At least not yet).

My C:\Perl\Bin directory contains the following EXE files:

11/02/1999 09:50a 4,096 perlglob.exe
11/02/1999 09:53a 89,600 a2p.exe
11/02/1999 09:53a 50,688 perl5.00503.exe
11/02/1999 09:53a 50,688 perl.exe

I believe this means it is version 5.00503, or build 503.

Is this a Perl bug or a MRTG bug?

Do you know what version number of Perl I should use? Now I'm running
Version 5.6.0.616.

Actually, the error message has been touched on by Tobi before.

It is a side effect of using the latest Perl from ActiveState. Use the
next older version, and the problem will go away.

To help you out with things like this, we need to see the config. It is
most likely a typo in the cfg file.....
