Thanks for all the help that everyone gave me..  I am getting results now.
I do have one more question though.

How can I verify that I have the correct value of memory in my cfg file?
I thought I had 36mb in it.  4mb on the NPE and 32mb added, but when I do a
show ver or show mem non of the values match what I thought I put in it.

Just wanted to know so that my graphics are showing correct amounts.

It sounds like you don't have the 'gauge' option turned on
for these targets in your config.  For things like memory,
temperature, etc that aren't 'counter' variables, you need to
tell mrtg to just measure the current value instead of doing
the delta.
