[mrtg] Graphing Up/Down Time

I'm trying to achieve a perl script to fetch the sysUpTime data for graphing
percentage of up time. MRTG, by default, will fetch the sysUpTime, but rateup
chokes on the return data because ber.pm reformats the data from time ticks into
human readable format. I can edit ber.pm and change pretty_print=0 but then the
html page reads "at which time 'device' had been up for 3626600", and, of
course, this affects all the other html pages generated by mrtg as well.

Anybody got any idea's?
