[mrtg] Unknown Options

Hello,

Thanks, for your help earlier.  I know I am doing something wrong.  When I 
run cfgmaker with options, I get the following message:
Unknown option: ifref
Unknown option: global

I am running mrtg-2.8.12 on, Solaris

Is there an advantage to run 2.9.0pre24??
