[mrtg] Problem Running cfgmaker

I get the below error when running cfgmaker. I have a nt 4.0 server
with sp4, then upgraded to sp6a to make sure it was not a problem with
sp and get the same error below:

C:\mrtg\bin>perl cfgmaker
Empty compile time value given to use lib at cfgmaker line 39
Can't locate MRTG_lib.pm in @INC at cfgmaker line 42.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at cfgmaker line 42.

any ideas?
