[mrtg] end of OID with Interface

Dears

I want to know how can I adjust the end of the OID with the related interface,
for example:
when I get the errors on some inteface and the general OID for this issue how can I know that the when the OID end with .1 that is say interface Serial 0 or Serial 1/1,
