[mrtg] External perl scripts

Having trouble calling an external perl script that parses timeticks for apc
runtime on batt. The perl script alone works as expected, but once in the
MRTG config file the graph is created and the following error hits STDOUT.

Here is the error:

	$ perl mrtg apc_test.cfg
	WARNING: Problem with External get 'C:/\perl/\bin/\perl.exe
C:/\mrtg-2.9.10/\bin
	/\apc.pl hostname':
	' Expected a Number for 'in' but got '16

	WARNING: Problem with Externale get 'C:/\perl/\bin/\perl.exe
C:/\mrtg-2.9.10/\bi
	n/\apc.pl 192.168.42.9':
	' Expected a Number for 'out' but got '0

Here is the output from the perl script itself:

	administrator at GALAXY /cygdrive/c/mrtg-2.9.10/bin
	$ perl apc.pl hostname
	16
	0
	0
	0

here is my 'Target' config argument:

	Target[hostname_runtime]: `C:/\perl/\bin/\perl.exe
C:/\mrtg-2.9.10/\bin/\apc.pl hostname`

thanks in advance!
