[mrtg] cpu on solaris

i have seen several archived threads pertaining to solaris cpu and mrtg..
has anyone successfully monitored cpu utilization, kernel, idle, user with
the sun supplied mibs?  i can pull aggregate time for each usage, but not
utilization.  seems i came across a few posts that had attempted to use
equations to poll...  has anyone had success with this?
