I don't know if there are other problems, but at least you should add
"gauge" to the Options line:
Options[host_CPU]: unknaszero, gauge

Subject: [mrtg] Win2K : CPU Load using pfdual.
Hello to all,
I am trying to monitor the CPU load of my Windows 2000 Prof. SP2 box,
powered by
one Intel Pentium III 500Mhz chip.
Looking at the faq, I found a tool called pfdual.
I downloaded the binary and, launched from a cmd prompt, CPU Utilization
matches with the one I see in the NT Task Manager.
I am now trying to use the pfdual tool with MRTG to generate graph (not
with
RRDTOOL)
The captured CPU Utilization is always round 0%
Here is my host.cfg entry :
Target[host_CPU]: `bin/pfdual.exe` & `bin/pfdual.exe`
MaxBytes[host_CPU]: 100
AbsMax[host_CPU]: 100
Options[host_CPU]: unknaszero
ShortLegend[host_CPU]: % CPU
YLegend[host_CPU]: % Utilization
LegendO[host_CPU]: CPU#2 Load:
LegendI[host_CPU]: CPU#1 Load:
Title[host_CPU]: Intel Pentium III 500Mhz Analysis
PageTop[host_CPU]:
Intel Pentium III 500Mhz Analysis

The top of the host_CPU.log file looks like as follow :
998917203 0 0
998917203 0 0 0 0
998916903 0 0 0 0
998916900 0 0 0 0

998912700 0 0 3 0
998912400 0 0 0 0

Something wrong ?
Any other clue to monitor a CPU Load and not using the performance
Manager
to collect the infos ?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Thierry
