I believe this line is the problem
it should be encased in the ` symbol thats the back tick ( key above the TAB
key on most keyboards
so
Target[BFR]: `c:\perl\perl c:\mrtg-2.9.17\bin\mrtg-ping-probe 192.168.1.1`
