[mrtg] Re: MRTG for cable modem using Cisco 7200 Router

Currently there is no MIB or OID that shows modem count.
You can get the count by walking the MAC table and counting them or
you can use expect or perl/telnet  to telnet and do a "show cable modem sum"
The show cable modem sum is faster and it handles bundling better.
