    No, this isn't an MRTG issue either.  ANY image you render smaller
than it's actual dimensions will look bad (depending on how small you make
it, or if you distort it's dimensions).  What you want to do is instruct
MRTG to generate smaller graphs for you.

XSize[_]: 360
YSize[_]: 75

    ...will generate graphs that are 360 pixels wide by 75 pixels heigh.
