I guess it's water under the bridge, but why didn't
you let MRTG do the conversion when you moved from
rateup to RRDTool? Anyway, I would think you may
be able to do an rrddump of your existing data, then
incorporate your old log files in, the run log2rrd to
get it converted.

Or run mrtg with RRDTool integration against the old
log data so it's in rrd format, dump those files as
well as the existing rrds, then copy the old data over
the new (there shouldn't be any thing in the area
where the old overlaps with the new stuff), then do
a log2rrd on that file.

I'm sure there are other ways, those are just the two
I'd look at doing.

I have been running MRTG with RRDtool for about 3 months. I never converted
my old log files over. So my data only goes back 3 months. Is there anyway
to incorporate the old log files back into the current rrds to get an entire
year graphed????

Thanks
Trent
