[mrtg] wiped out logs

[Fauteux, Joe]

anyone have any clues to why , sometimes, after editing a .cfg file and
running it all my existing logs get zeroed out and i lose all my graphed
data. It collects data fine afterwards but ive lost all my history. Any
ideas would be great
