[mrtg] Re: different values for MaxOut between daily and weekly

The weekly graph shows a higher peak than the whole daily graph.

I can see the high max (82,9 kb/s) on the weekly graph (active today).
That is why I think I should see this also on the daily graph too.

Daily Graph    Max  Out: 52.6 kb/s (58.5%)

Weekly Graph   Max  Out: 82.9 kb/s (92.1%)

Chris,

How long did you wait to report this to the list?  The weekly graphs only
get
drawn every 30 minutes, the monthly every two hours, and the yearly 1x a
day
I think.  WithPeak is not needed in the daily config because, by default,
all
peaks are there...  Just like that same daily peak won't show up in the
monthly
graph until rateup redraws that graph (probably sometime during last night
or
today).

Hi,

I am using MRTG to graph Cisco-Router-Interfaces for both Input/Output
bits.
(daily/weekly/monthly/yearly)

I use the option "withpeak" and this is shown in all graphs except daily.
Today I saw a higher "Max Out" on the weekly graph than on the daily one,
which I
don t understand. I thought the withpeak shows only the highest daily
values also in the
other graphs.
