[mrtg] a little help with timings, please

I am getting some errors back in my mrtg config.  
I am not worried about the snmp error, but more concerned with the other
lines regarding rateup warnings.  It appears that the timestamp in the log
file is different by the time the system writes data to that row?  I am not
sure what is going on and would appreciate some help.
