What box are you doing the querying from? From most *nix variants,
you can use snmpget x.x.x.x community OID and you'll get a value back.
Or you can do an snmpwalk x.x.x.x community > textfile, open the text file
and look for the mib you want to query.

Using what tool? Getif is the only mib browser I currently know how to use.
Any suggestions?

Can you do this query from the command line vs. GETIF?

Could someone please take a look and help me out? This problem has got me
stumped.

Subject: [mrtg] Monitoring SQL
I am trying to setup monitoring of page reads and writes on a SQL server
through MRTG and am having some issues.
When I check the OID for page reads and writes using Getif I get the correct
response, but when I try using mrtg I get
an error. Here is my config file and the error message. I am at a loss, I
hope someone can give me a clue.

Again, this does return valid data using Getif! Help!! Thanks.
