Check it yourself.  Just after MRTG ran, view the 1st few lines of the
log file.  Wait until the next run. View the lines again.

Calculate the 3 deltas (subtract the numbers).  Divide the delta of the
2nd column by the delta of the 1st column.  The outcome is your rate.
Compare this rate to your MaxBytes setting.
