When I was using an NT machine to run MRTG, I kept a text file on the
desktop are when I would start a process, I looked up the ID in Taskmgr for
that perl process and put it in my text file with a description. That way I
would know which one was which if I had to kill a certain one. Remember to
update it after you kill it, most likely it will get a different number.

Subject: [mrtg] newbie question on killing only one process

In mrtg 2.9.7 (on NT) is there a way to stop just one instance ?
For example: I am running mrtg successfully on 10 devices concurrently and
I messed up a .cfg file on one of the switches and want to change it.
It won't let me delete the lock file because it is in use.

Thanks for your assistance in this matter
