On your router?  Line errors, memory, temperature (if the router is so
equipped), free buffers, traffic that matches CAR criteria, number of people
logged in to the vty ports, probably even the number of seconds since the
last configuration change, if you cared.

On your server?  Anything you want.

On your toaster?  Number of slices per second.

On your coke machine?  Number of Pepsi's sold per hour, compared with the
number of ginger ales.

Anything you can get with SNMP, you can graph with MRTG.
