[mrtg] Re: gauge meaning

It's pretty obvious to (al)most all of us that the person in question has not 
read (or understood) the manual.  Let's not go into another tailspin on 
when it is/isn't appropriate to post RTFM.  In this case, it certainly 
seemed appropriate to say RTFM, Go back to the drawing board and 
start over, or just take some time to play with mrtg before asking such 
obviously uninformed questions.

as do i normally, but the person in question isn't even reading the responses,
because i'm far from the first person that has said read the fscking manual...

the question can't be answered because there isn't enough information
(which was also asked for) not because the answer isn't in the manual.
