[mrtg] RRD-Tool -> Frontend needed?? Which one?

Hi,

I have MRTG running and have heard that it is better to implement RRD for
improved performance.

I use:    MRTG 2.9.6, WinNT4 SP5  -> for Cisco Routers+Switches

Anybody who can give me details if I should migrate to RRD and which
frontend
I should use??
(PS: I am no programmer - should be easy to implement)
