You can probably follow the following approach:

In your config file you will now have something similar to
Target[myrouter.1]: 1:public at myrouter

Change this into
Target[myrouter.1]: ifOutOctets.1&ifOutOctets.1:public at myrouter

Of course the number 1, the string public and the string myrouter
will need to be changed into the real values.
